Members of the Coldspring/San Jacinto County Chamber of Commerce are entitled to many benefits. Click here to download a Membership Investment Form. *Assistance in promoting your business Business 1-3 Employees $100.00 Individual $ 50.00 Associations Churches, Civic Organizations & Service Clubs $100.00 Elected and Appointed Officials, Administrators, including all units of Government, School, City, County, State, & Federal $100.00 PROGRAMS & SERVICES The Coldspring / San Jacinto County Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to improving the business climate and quality of life in the San Jacinto County area. It serves, and is committed to, the businesses, organizations, and individuals that make up its membership and San Jacinto County. The following summarizes Chamber of Commerce programs and committees: *The Economic Development Committee works to promote the San Jacinto County area as a good location and to retain and expand the current business base. *The Membership Committee has the primary responsibility of developing valuable benefits and services to address the needs of the membership and to design programs to promote Chamber member businesses. In addition, this committee works to maintain the community’s commitment to, and investment in, itself through Chamber membership. *Membership programs include monthly luncheons, ribbon cuttings, and other networking opportunities. *Membership in the Coldspring/San Jacinto County Chamber of Commerce allows for the collective promotion of a prosperous and profitable economic climate and high quality of life in San Jacinto County. In addition to this inherent benefit, many other programs and services make chamber membership a valuable and necessary investment. YOUR STAFF— The chamber board, volunteers, and a one-person staff work full time for you. *Daily referrals of chamber members for goods and services. YOUR OPPORTUNITIES—The chamber provides opportunities for members to help grow and maintain their business. · Free sessions with a Small Business Development Center consultant, at which you will receive personalized assistance in every aspect of business management, operations, and start up. · Volunteer opportunities for you to get involved, have your voice heard and play a part in the direction and activities of your chamber and the business community. · Website to keep you informed and to include information on your business happenings. · Monthly luncheons (3rd Tuesday) to become more informed through business speakers, network your business, find out what is happening, and discover more about the area in which you live. YOUR RESOURCES— The chamber works every day to ensure the economic health of the community. Whether or not you have time to get involved, the Chamber takes care of community interests and issues for you. · Community events and programs to add to our already attractive quality of life. · A professional economic development program to attract business and more people (= more customers) to San Jacinto County and to assist existing businesses to stay and grow here. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Listed below are the ways you can help to make the area a better place by volunteering on one of the following committee programs: · Membership · Hometown Cook Off · Country Market · Christmas on the Square · Wolf Creek Car, Truck & Bike Show · Office Assistance · Arts & Antiques Fest Why YOU should be a Member: · Because the Chamber of Commerce unifies the public spirit of my community and directs it into useful and constructive channels. · Because you have a business at stake in the community which can be best safeguarded by working with others through the Chamber of Commerce to protect and advance all businesses · Because your support is "plowed back" to yield many benefits in new industry, increased payroll, health, safety, legislation, business protection, and community advancement. · Because the Chamber of Commerce can't carry out its broad program of work to protect and advance business without personal service and financial support. · Because through the Chamber of Commerce you can best discharge your obligations to this community in which you live and earn your living. You realize that every person owes a debt to the community that cannot be paid in taxes - a debt of personal service. · Because an active membership in the Chamber of Commerce carries with it a sense of accomplishment and inner satisfaction from the knowledge that you are doing your share of an important job.
